Introduction to OnBoardToGo

OnBoardToGo is a white-label LMS that lets you train your entire team under your own brand. This guide walks you through the basics of getting your platform up and running.

What you get out of the box

Your platform comes with unlimited users, unlimited courses, a branded login page, and a full admin panel. No per-seat fees — ever.

First Login

After your platform is set up, you will receive a login link and admin credentials by email.

Logging in for the first time

Navigate to your platform URL and enter your credentials. On first login you will be prompted to change your password and set up two-factor authentication.

Invite Your Team

Go to Admin Panel → Users → Invite. You can invite individuals by email or upload a CSV for bulk invitations.

Role options

Each user can be assigned one of three roles: Learner, Manager, or Admin. Managers can create courses and view reports for their group; Admins have full access.

Managing Users

The Users section of the admin panel gives you full control over who has access to your platform and what they can do.

Filtering and groups

Organize users into groups (e.g. by department) to assign courses in bulk and filter reports by team.

Courses

Create courses using the built-in builder or import existing SCORM 1.2/2004 packages.

Publishing and assigning

A course must be published before it can be assigned. Assign to individual users, groups, or everyone at once. You can set a due date and send automatic reminders.

Reports

Reports are available in Admin Panel → Reports. Filter by user, group, course, or date range.

Compliance export

Export completion data as CSV or PDF for compliance audits. Certificates are automatically generated on completion.

Taking Courses

After logging in, your assigned courses appear on the dashboard. Click a course to start or continue where you left off.

Certificates

On completing a course, a certificate is automatically generated and emailed to you. You can also download it any time from your profile.

Tracking Progress

Your profile page shows completion percentages for all assigned courses, quiz scores, and time spent learning.

Custom Domain

With the Platform + Brand plan, you can serve your LMS from your own domain (e.g. learn.yourcompany.com).

DNS setup

Create a CNAME record pointing to your OnBoardToGo subdomain. We handle SSL automatically.

Logo & Colors

Upload your logo and set your brand colors in Admin Panel → Branding. Changes apply instantly across the entire platform.

Branded Emails

Send invitation, completion, and reminder emails from your own domain. Requires DNS configuration (SPF + DKIM records).

SSO Setup

OnBoardToGo supports SAML 2.0 and OAuth 2.0 single sign-on. Available on the Platform + Brand plan.

Connecting your identity provider

Go to Admin Panel → Integrations → SSO. Enter your Identity Provider metadata URL or upload the XML file. Test the connection before enabling.

HR Tools

Sync employees automatically from BambooHR or Workday. New hires are provisioned and assigned onboarding courses automatically.

Zapier & Make

Use the OnBoardToGo Zapier app or Make module to automate workflows: assign courses on Slack messages, notify managers on completion, export data to Google Sheets, and more.
